Welcome to GO Near God support. Below you'll find simple, guided instructions for using each part of the app. If you have any questions or run into trouble along the way, we'd love to hear from you — just reach out through the contact form.

Home Screen

The Home Screen is your starting point each day. From here you can navigate to any of the four daily moments, your Favorites, Settings, and Profile, and see a quick snapshot of which moments you've spent with God today.
Tap any moment card — Rise & Shine, Morning JO, Afternoon Tea, or Evening Surrender — to begin. Completed moments are marked with a checkmark, so you'll always know where you are in your daily rhythm. You can visit any moment at any time.
The bottom menu gives you quick access from anywhere in the app — Home, each of the four moments, and Favorites are always just one tap away.

Rise & Shine

Rise & Shine is your morning moment to offer gratitude and invite God into your day. Each morning, a fresh prayer of praise, gratitude, and invitation is waiting for you — written to set a hopeful, worshipful tone for the hours ahead.
You can read the prayer silently or read it aloud. We highly recommend entering your own thoughts to create a more personalized morning prayer — but it's certainly never required. The prayer alone is enough.
Pro users can also listen to the prayer read aloud and speak their thoughts using voice input.
Tap the heart to save a prayer to your Favorites, or share it with your group to encourage others in their morning.

Morning Jo

Morning JO is your time to receive — like sitting with God over coffee, letting Scripture and encouragement settle into your heart before the day gains momentum.
Each morning, a personalized devotional is ready for you, weaving together a biblical story, Scripture, and a gentle connection to your own life. There's nothing to enter and nothing required — simply read and receive.
Pro users can also listen to the devotional read aloud.
Tap the heart to save a devotional to your Favorites, or share it with your group. If something especially resonated with you, you can tap Share to let us know — it helps your Morning JO grow more meaningful over time.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea is your time to talk — a conversational space to bring your day to God. Share what's on your mind, what's weighing on you, what you're celebrating, or who you're praying for. There's no right way to begin.
Simply type what you'd like to share, and you'll receive a warm, thoughtful response grounded in Scripture and Christian values. Every conversation is shaped by biblical truth, offering gentle guidance that points you toward God rather than away from Him.
Pro users can also speak their thoughts using voice input and listen to responses read aloud.
Afternoon Tea is also where your experience becomes most personal. As you share over time, your other moments grow more meaningful to you. Tap the heart to save a response to your Favorites, or share it with your group.

Evening Surrender

Evening Surrender is your closing moment — a time to release the day and rest in God. Each evening, a gentle surrender prayer is waiting for you, focused on letting go rather than solving or striving.
You can read the prayer silently or read it aloud. If you'd like, you can add your own words to release whatever is still weighing on you — but it's certainly never required. The prayer alone is enough.
Pro users can also listen to the prayer read aloud and speak their thoughts using voice input.
Tap the heart to save a prayer to your Favorites, or share it with your group as a closing encouragement to end the day together.

Favorites & Groups

Favorites is where your saved moments live. Any prayer, devotional, or response you've tapped the heart on is kept here, ready to revisit whenever you need encouragement. Tap any favorite to read it again, or remove it from your list at any time.Groups is where you can walk alongside others on their journey with God. Join a private group using a simple QR code, or invite close friends, family, or a small circle from your church to share the experience with you. From any moment, tap Share to send a prayer, devotional, or response into your group — encouraging one another with Scripture and real reflection throughout the day. Groups are private and made for intimacy, not performance.
